Abstract

The preferred embodiments provide a system and/or method that exploits the presence of multiple interfaces to provide high quality video streaming (or real time streaming). The proposed solution includes three specific strategies 1) receiver buffer management, 2) selective re-transmission of packets and 3) dynamic load balancing across interfaces to achieve high quality video streaming across multiple interfaces.

Les modes de réalisation préférés de la présente invention proposent un système et/ou un procédé qui exploite la présence de multiples interfaces pour fournir une diffusion vidéo en continu de haute qualité (ou une diffusion en temps réel). La solution proposée comprend trois stratégies précises : 1) la gestion de tampon de récepteur, 2) la retransmission sélective de paquets et 3) l'équilibrage de charge dynamique entre interfaces pour obtenir une diffusion vidéo en continu de haute qualité sur de multiples interfaces.
