An engine lubrication apparatus has an oil sump provided at a lower side of an engine, a scavenge pump for sending oil in the oil sump to an oil tank, and a feed pump for supplying the oil in the oil tank to the engine. The engine lubrication apparatus has: a crankcase with side portions extending in parallel with the axis of a crankshaft on both sides and each constituted of inner and outer sidewalls arranged to create a space open at the lower side between the sidewalls; a first oil-pan member attached to lower portions of the inner sidewalls of the crankcase and forming the oil sump; and a second oil-pan member attached to lower portions of the outer sidewalls and forming the oil tank together with the spaces, the second oil-pan member being spaced apart from the first-oil-pan member an covering the first oil-pan member from below.

La présente invention concerne un appareil de lubrification de moteur comportant un carter d'huile prévu à une face inférieure d'un moteur, une pompe de balayage pour transporter l'huile contenue dans le carter d'huile vers un réservoir d'huile, et une pompe d'alimentation pour alimenter l'huile contenue dans le réservoir d'huile dans le moteur. L'appareil de lubrification de moteur comprend : un carter de moteur avec des parties latérales s'étendant en parallèle avec l'axe d'un vilebrequin de part et d'autre et chacune constituée de parois latérales intérieures et extérieures pour ménager un espace ouvert à la face inférieure entre les parois latérales ; un premier bac à huile fixé aux parties inférieures des parois latérales intérieures du carter de moteur et formant le carter d'huile ; et un second bac à huile fixé aux parties inférieures des parois latérales extérieures et formant le réservoir d'huile conjointement avec les espaces, le second bac à huile étant espacé du premier bac à huile et recouvrant le premier bac à huile par le bas.
