An apparatus for receiving electromagnetically induced current, the apparatus comprising an antenna element for receiving electromagnetically induced current in a first apparatus operating mode, and also for near field communication in a second apparatus operating mode, wherein the apparatus comprises circuitry for switching the apparatus from the second apparatus operating mode to the first apparatus operating mode based on near field communication signalling received via the antenna element in the second apparatus operating mode.

La présente invention a trait à un appareil permettant de recevoir un courant induit de façon électromagnétique, lequel appareil comprend un élément formant antenne permettant de recevoir le courant induit de façon électromagnétique dans un premier mode de fonctionnement de l'appareil, et permettant également d'obtenir une communication en champ proche dans un second mode de fonctionnement de l'appareil, lequel appareil comprend un ensemble de circuits permettant de commuter l'appareil du second mode de fonctionnement de l'appareil au premier mode de fonctionnement de l'appareil en se basant sur la signalisation de la communication en champ proche reçue par l'intermédiaire de l'élément formant antenne dans le second mode de fonctionnement de l'appareil.
