Abstract:
(EN) A method for detecting a digital radio signal includes the steps of receiving the digital radio signal including a series of symbols, developing a correlation waveform having a peak that corresponds to a symbol boundary, normalizing the correlation waveform, and calculating a peak value of the normalized correlation waveform, wherein the peak value represents the quality of the received digital radio signal. A receiver that performs the method is also provided.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé pour détecter un signal radio numérique comprenant les étapes consistant à : recevoir le signal radio numérique comprenant une série de symboles, développer une forme d'onde de corrélation ayant un pic qui correspond à une frontière de symboles, normaliser la forme d'onde de corrélation et calculer une valeur pic de la forme d'onde de corrélation normalisée, la valeur pic représentant la qualité du signal radio numérique reçu. L'invention concerne également un récepteur qui réalise le procédé.
