(EN)A backlight (100) comprises a hot cathode fluorescent lamp (10) and a casing (20). Each hot cathode fluorescent lamp includes a bulb (12) on the inner surface of which a fluorescent substance layer is formed and a filament (14) from which thermo electrons is emitted. The hot cathode fluorescent lamp is so disposed that the longitudinal direction (14a) of the filament is directed to the direction (40) of a screen, whereby the starting voltage of the hot cathode fluorescent lamp is lowered.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un rétro-éclairage (100) comprenant une lampe à fluorescence à cathode chaude (10) et un boîtier (20). Chaque lampe à fluorescence à cathode chaude comporte une ampoule (12) dont la face intérieure est garnie d'une couche de substance fluorescente, et dans laquelle un filament (14) émet des thermo-électrons. La lampe à fluorescence à cathode chaude est disposée de façon que l'axe longitudinal (14a) du filament soit orienté dans le sens (40) d'un écran, ce qui permet d'abaisser la tension de départ de la lampe à fluorescence à cathode chaude.
