(EN)A method of estimating exercise capacity of a subject is disclosed. The method uses output radiofrequency signals transmitted to the subject during exercise and input radiofrequency signals received from the subject during exercise. The method comprises: determining a phase shift of the input radiofrequency signals relative to the output radiofrequency signals; calculating cardiac output based on the phase shift; and using the cardiac output for estimating the exercise capacity of the subject.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant d'estimer l'aptitude à l'exercice d'un sujet. Le procédé utilise des signaux radiofréquence de sortie transmis au sujet pendant l'exercice et des signaux radiofréquence d'entrée reçus du sujet pendant l'exercice. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à déterminer un déphasage des signaux radiofréquence d'entrée par rapport aux signaux radiofréquence de sortie, calculer le débit cardiaque sur la base du déphasage, et utiliser le débit cardiaque pour estimer l'aptitude à l'exercice du sujet.
