(EN)A system and method for molecule detection uses a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) system with detection spots having fixed nanostructures. An SPR assembly may be combined with a digital microfluidic control system such as an electrowetting-on-dielectric (EWOD) chip. The microfluidic system individually directs sample droplets to different detection spots of the SPR assembly, thus allowing the SPR examination of different samples or sample reactions on the same surface. The nanostructures at the detection spots enhance the sensitivity of the SPR signals.
(FR)L'invention porte sur un système et un procédé de détection de molécules qui fait appel à un système de résonance plasmonique de surface (SPR) comprenant des points de détection à nanostructures fixes. Selon l'invention, on peut combiner un ensemble SPR à un système de commande microfluidique numérique tel qu'une puce à électromouillage sur diélectrique (EWOD). Le système microfluidique dirige des gouttelettes d'échantillon individuelles vers différents points de détection de l'ensemble SPR, permettant de la sorte à ce dernier d'examiner par SPR différents échantillons ou différentes réactions d'échantillon sur la même surface. Les nanostructures situées sur les points de détection augmentent la sensibilité des signaux SPR.
