(EN)The invention relates to the isolation and use of hematopoietic and embryonic stem cells. Additionally, the inventors identified the peritoneal cavity as a new source of hematopoietic stem cells. In one embodiment, the invention provides methods of isolating progenitor and/or stem cells from the peritoneal cavity. In another embodiment, the invention provides methods of transporting progenitor and/or stem cells from the peritoneal cavity to another organ. In another embodiment, the present invention provides methods of regenerating bioengineered tissues and/or reconstituting an hematopoietic system.
(FR)La présente invention concerne l'isolation et l'utilisation de cellules souches hématopoïétiques et embryonnaires. De plus, les inventeurs ont identifié la cavité péritonéale comme nouvelle source de cellules souches hématopoïétiques. Selon un mode de réalisation, l'invention propose des procédés d'isolation des cellules parentes et/ou souches provenant de la cavité péritonéale. Selon un autre mode de réalisation, l'invention propose des procédés de transport des cellules parentes et/ou souches depuis la cavité péritonéale vers un autre organe.
