(EN)A method of supporting denitrification includes receiving biological material at a pulsed electric field station and applying a pulsed electric field to the biological material within a treatment zone in the pulse electric field station to generate treated biological material. The method also includes transporting at least a portion of the treated biological material to an anoxic bioreactor in substitution, at least in part, for an external source of electron donor. A system for supporting denitrification is also provided.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à favoriser la dénitrification et consistant à recevoir une matière biologique au niveau d'une station à champ électrique pulsé et à appliquer un champ électrique pulsé à la matière biologique dans une zone de traitement dans la station à champ électrique pulsé en vue de la génération d'une matière biologique traitée. Le procédé consiste en outre à transporter au moins une partie de la matière biologique traitée vers un bioréacteur anoxique en remplacement, au moins en partie, d'une source extérieure d'électrodonneur. L'invention concerne également un système destiné à favoriser la dénitrification.
