(EN)The present application relates to a composition having a layer of hydrophobic nanoparticles at the surface thereof, and a water-based or hydrophilic-based composition. The application further relates to methods of obtaining a desirable surface property of a composition, including mixing hydrophobic nanoparticles in the composition and allowing at least some of the nanoparticles to migrate to a surface of the composition, so that there is a concentration of hydrophobic nanoparticales at the interface.
