(EN)A dual-sided radio (100) for enhancing a user's experience is provided. The radio includes a primary transducer (110) on an audio-side of the radio that projects a primary sound, a secondary transducer (120) on a data-side of the radio that projects a mid-high frequency sound, a processor (160) that equalizes (200) audio to the primary transducer and the secondary transducer, and a communication module (130) that receives and transmits communication signals containing the audio. The secondary transducer supplements the primary sound with a mid-high frequency sound (404) to compensate for mid-high frequency loss of the primary sound due to diffraction (300).
