Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a circuit arrangement and method of applying predistortion to a baseband signal used for modulating a pulse-shaped signal, wherein an envelope information of the baseband signal is detected and slewing distortions of the pulse- shaped signal are reduced by applying at least one of a phase modulation and a duty cycle 5 modulation to the baseband signal as additional predistortion in response to the detected envelope information. Thereby, slewing distortions in the pulse-shaped signal are removed or at least reduced.
(FR) La présente invention porte sur un agencement de circuits et sur un procédé permettant d'appliquer une prédistortion à un signal en bande de base utilisé pour moduler un signal en forme d'impulsion, une information d'enveloppe du signal en bande de base étant détecté et des distorsions de balayage rapide du signal en forme d'impulsion étant réduites par application d'au moins une modulation de phase ou une modulation de rapport cyclique au signal en bande de base comme prédistorsion supplémentaire en réponse aux informations d'enveloppe détectées. Ainsi, des distorsions de balayage rapide dans le signal en forme d'impulsion sont éliminées ou au moins réduites.
