Eine Formulierung zur Herstellung streckgeblasener opaker Kunststoffbehälter, insbesondere Kunststoffflaschen, umf asst eine für den Streckblasprozess einsetzbare Polymermatrix und wenigstens einen mineralischen Füllstoff. Die Polymermatrix ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus PET, Polystyrol und Biokunststoffen, insbesondere Polylactid, gewählt. Als mineralischer Füllstoff wird der Polymermatrix Kalziumkarbonat in einer Menge von 5% - 45% Gewicht bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht der Formulierung beigemengt. Es sind auch ein aus der Formulierung hergestellter Pref orm und ein Verfahren zur Herstellung opaker Kunststoffbehälter in einem Streckblasverfahren beschrieben.

A formulation for the production of stretch blow-molded opaque plastic containers, particularly plastic bottles, comprises a polymer matrix that can be utilized for the stretch blow-molding process, and at least one mineral filler. The polymer matrix is selected from the group consisting of PET, polystyrene, and bioplastics, particularly polylactide. Calcium carbonate in an amount of 5% - 45% weight based on the total weight of the formulation is added to the polymer matrix as the mineral filler. The invention also describes a preform produced from the formulation, and a method for the production of opaque plastic containers in a stretch blow-molding process.

L'invention concerne une formulation pour la fabrication d'un récipient en matière plastique opaque formé par étirage-soufflage, en particulier des bouteilles en matière plastique, comprenant une matrice polymère pouvant être utilisée pour le procédé d'étirage-soufflage et au moins un matériau de remplissage minéral. La matrice polymère est choisie dans le groupe constitué par le PET, le poly(styrène) et les matières plastiques bio, en particulier le poly(lactide). Avec la matrice polymère, on mélange du carbonate de calcium en tant que matériau de remplissage minéral en une quantité de 5 % à 45 % en poids par rapport au poids total de la formulation. Une préforme fabriquée à partir de la formulation et un procédé de fabrication de récipients en matière plastique opaques dans un procédé d'étirage-soufflage sont également décrits.
