Abstract
(EN) A plethysmograph variability processor inputs a plethysmograph waveform having pulses corresponding to pulsatile blood flow within a tissue site. The processor derives plethysmograph values based upon selected plethysmograph features, determines variability values, and calculates a plethysmograph variability parameter. The variability values indicate the variability of the plethysmograph features. The plethysmograph variability parameter is representative of the variability values and provides a useful indication of various physiological conditions and the efficacy of treatment for those conditions.
(FR) L'invention concerne un processeur de variabilité de pléthysmographe qui entre une forme d'onde de pléthysmographe ayant des impulsions correspondant au flux sanguin pulsatile dans un site de tissu. Le processeur dérive des valeurs de pléthysmographe selon des particularités de pléthysmographe sélectionnées, détermine les valeurs de variabilité et calcule un paramètre de variabilité de pléthysmographe. Les valeurs de variabilité indiquent la variabilité des particularités de pléthysmographe. Le paramètre de variabilité de pléthysmographe est représentatif des valeurs de variabilité et donne une indication utile de diverses conditions physiologiques et l'efficacité du traitement pour ces conditions.
