Es wird eine feste oder wässrige alkalische Zubereitung umfassend eine Kreatin-Komponente beschrieben, die ein einen pH-Wert von 8,0 bis 12,0 einstellendes Puffersystem enthält. Mit Hilfe des Puffersystems wird das Kreatin im Magen vor einer Umwandlung in Kreatinin besser geschützt. Außerdem hat sich überraschenderweise herausgestellt, dass die neuen Formulierungen eine deutlich höhere Bioverfügbarkeit aufweisen und somit besser in die Zellen aufgenommen werden. Schließlich besitzt die erfindungsgemäße Zubereitung sehr gute organoleptische Eigenschaften, was ebenfalls nicht vorhersehbar war. Aufgrund dieser besonderen Vorteile eignet sich die erfindungsgemäße Zubereitung hervorragend als Nahrungsergänzungsmittel, Stärkungsmittel, medizinische Präparate und Futtermittel.

A solid or aqueous alkaline preparation comprising a creatine component which comprises a buffer system which adjusts a pH of from 8.0 to 12.0 is described. The creatine is better protected with the aid of the buffer system from conversion into creatinine in the stomach. It has additionally emerged, surprisingly, that the novel formulations display a distinctly higher bioavailability and are thus taken up better by cells. Finally, the preparation of the invention has very good organoleptic properties, which in fact likewise could not be predicted. Owing to these particular advantages, the preparation of the invention is outstandingly suitable as dietary supplements, restoratives, medicinal products and feedstuffs.

L'invention concerne une préparation alcaline solide ou aqueuse comprenant un composant de créatine, ledit composant comprenant un système de tampon réglé à un pH de 8,0 à 12,0. À l'aide du système de tampon, la créatine est mieux protégée dans l'estomac avant une transformation en créatinine. En outre, il s'est révélé particulièrement étonnant que les nouvelles formulations présentent une biodisponibilité grandement améliorée, et soient donc mieux absorbées par les cellules. La préparation selon l'invention présente également de très bonnes caractéristiques organoleptiques, ce qui n'était pas prévisible non plus. En raison de ces avantages exceptionnels, la préparation selon l'invention est particulièrement appropriée en tant que complément alimentaire, fortifiant, préparation médicinale et produit alimentaire pour animaux.
