Abstract:
(EN) A spinal implant for limiting flexion of the spine includes a tether structure for encircling adjacent spinal processes. Usually, a pair of compliance members will be provided as part of the tether structure for elastically limiting flexion while permitting an extension. A cross-member is provided between the compliance member or other portions of the tether structure to stabilize the tether structure and prevent misalignment after implantation.
(FR) L'invention concerne un implant rachidien pour limiter une flexion de la colonne vertébrale, comprenant une structure de rassemblement pour encercler des apophyses épineuses adjacentes. Habituellement, une paire d'éléments souples va être fournie sous la forme d'une partie de la structure d'attache pour limiter de manière élastique une flexion tout en permettant une extension. Un élément transversal est fourni entre l'élément souple ou d'autres parties de la structure d'attache pour stabiliser la structure d'attache et empêcher un défaut d'alignement après implantation.
