Abstract

A gasket having excellent heat resistance (especially, instantaneous heat resistance) or excellent electrolyte resistance and insulation properties, and can exhibit excellent sealing properties even if it is small-sized and thin. An enclosed secondary battery and an electrolytic capacitor employing that gasket are also provided. The enclosed secondary battery comprises a battery element (15) including a positive plate (11), a negative plate (12), and two sheets of separators (13, 14) interposed between the positive plate (11) and the negative plate (12), a sealing body (positive electrode terminal) (17) connected electrically with the positive plate (11), a negative electrode terminal (18) connected electrically with the negative plate (12), and a gasket (19) for insulating the positive electrode terminal from the negative electrode terminal (18), wherein a gasket (19) containing bridged ionomer is employed and bonded to the positive electrode terminal or the negative electrode terminal (18) by thermocompression.

L'invention concerne une garniture possédant d'excellentes propriétés de résistance thermique (en particulier de résistance thermique instantanée) ou de résistance électrolytique et d'isolement, et capable d'assurer une excellente étanchéité en dépit de ses dimensions et de son épaisseur réduites. L'invention concerne également une batterie secondaire blindée et un condensateur électrolytique utilisant la garniture. La batterie secondaire blindée comprend un élément de batterie (15) comportant une plaque positive (11), une plaque négative (12), et deux feuilles de séparation (13, 14) interposées entre la plaque positive (11) et la plaque négative (12) ; un corps d'étanchéité (borne d'électrode positive) (17) connecté électriquement à la plaque positive (11) ; une borne d'électrode négative (18) connectée électriquement à la plaque négative (12) ; et une garniture (19) conçue pour isoler la borne d'électrode positive de la borne d'électrode négative (18), la garniture (19) contenant un ionomère réticulé et étant fixée à la borne d'électrode positive ou à la borne d'électrode négative (18) par thermocompression.
