A process is described, to be adopted in the field of operating machines as regards their thermal control. Such process is based on the use of a system for storing thermal energy with phase-change materials. Preferred embodiments of such storage system consist, for example, in a panel (8) and a cylinder liner (13), composed of two metal skins (16) that enclose a core with cellular structure containing at least one type of phase-change material. The presence of phase-change materials ensures a high thermal capacity to the system for storing thermal energy. The process consists in applying at least one of the above systems for storing thermal energy as structural thermo- settling element of an operating machine, as thermal interface barrier or as system for increasing the thermal inertia of a component of the operating machine. In such a way, temperature variations (due to heat generated by some components inside the machine, or coming from the outside environment), and the consequent thermal distortions that are the cause of working or measuring errors, are limited. This guarantees the passive thermal control of the operating machine.

La présente invention concerne un procédé à utiliser dans le domaine des machines de commande pour leur contrôle thermique. Un tel procédé est basé sur l'utilisation d'un système destiné à stocker l'énergie thermique avec des matériaux eutectiques. Des modes de réalisation préférés d'un tel système de stockage comprennent, par exemple, un panneau (8) et une chemise de cylindre (13), composée de deux parois métalliques (16) qui enferment un noyau avec structure cellulaire contenant au moins un type de matériau eutectique. La présence des matériaux eutectiques assure une haute capacité thermique au système pour le stockage de l'énergie thermique. Le procédé consiste à utiliser au moins l'un des systèmes ci-dessus pour le stockage de l'énergie thermique sous forme d'élément de dépôt thermique structurel d'une machine de commande, de barrière de l'interface thermique ou de système pour augmenter l'inertie thermique d'un composant de la machine de commande. De cette façon, il est possible de limiter les variations de température (dues à la chaleur générée par certains composants à l'intérieur de la machine ou provenant de l'environnement extérieur) et les distorsions thermiques ultérieures qui sont la cause d'erreurs de travail ou de mesure. Ceci garantit le contrôle thermique passif de la machine de commande.
