Abstract

Disclosed herein is a wireless transceiver station comprising an antenna device and a casing, said antenna device comprising at least one resonator element cooperating with the casing of said wireless transceiver station and having a shape with a low aspect ratio so as to be conformal with said casing, said at least one resonator element comprising a composite material and being adapted to be excited by a feed system which is positioned inside said resonator element so as to allow said antenna device to irradiate with a substantially omnidirectional radiation pattern.

L'invention concerne une station d'émetteur-récepteur sans fil comprenant un dispositif d'antenne et un boîtier, ledit dispositif d'antenne comprenant au moins un élément résonateur coopérant avec le boîtier de ladite station émetteur-récepteur sans fil et ayant une forme avec un rapport de forme faible de façon à être conforme audit boîtier, au moins un élément résonateur comprenant un matériau composite et étant adapté pour être excité par un système d'alimentation positionné à l'intérieur dudit élément résonateur, de façon à permettre audit dispositif d'antenne de rayonner avec un motif de rayonnement sensiblement omnidirectionnel.
