Techniques and technologies are provided for dynamically selecting one of a default channel bandwidth and an alternate channel bandwidth for transmitting information over a wireless communication link which couples a transmitter node to a receiver node. The transmitter node and the receiver node are designed to transmit and receive at the default channel bandwidth and at the alternate channel bandwidth.

Selon l'invention, des techniques et des technologies permettent de sélectionner dynamiquement une largeur de bande de voie par défaut ou une largeur de bande de voie secondaire afin de transmettre des informations par une liaison de communication sans fil qui couple un noeud d'émetteur à un noeud de récepteur. Le noeud d'émetteur et le noeud de récepteur sont conçus pour transmettre et recevoir à la largeur de bande de voie par défaut et à la largeur de bande de voie secondaire.
