Abstract:
(EN) Optical waveguide fiber that is bend resistant and single moded at 1260 nm and at higher wavelengths. The optical fiber includes a core and cladding, the cladding having an annular inner region, an annular ring region, and an annular outer region. The annular ring region has a low relative refractive index. The fiber has a zero dispersion falling between 1300 and 1324 nm, a mode field diameter at 1310 nm of between 8.20 and 9.50 &mgr;m, and a 10 nm diameter mandrel bend loss of less than 1.0 dB/turn.
(FR) L'invention concerne une fibre de guide d'onde optique qui est résistante à la flexion et monomode à 1260 nm ainsi qu'à des longueurs d'onde plus élevées. Cette fibre optique comprend un coeur et une gaine, cette gaine présentant une zone annulaire interne, une zone annulaire centrale, et une zone annulaire externe. Ladite zone annulaire centrale présente un faible indice de réfraction relatif. La fibre selon l'invention présente une dispersion nulle entre 1300 et 1324 nm, un diamètre de champ de mode à 1310 nm qui est compris entre 8,20 et 9,50 &mgr;m, et une perte de courbure pour un mandrin de 10 nm de diamètre qui est inférieure à 1,0 db/tour.
