Abstract

A technique is described for use in a decoder to transition between a lost frame and one or more received frames following the lost frame in a series of frames. In accordance with the technique, an extrapolated signal is generated based on a synthesized output audio signal. A time lag is calculated between the extrapolated signal and a decoded audio signal associated with the received frame(s), wherein the time lag represents a phase difference between the extrapolated signal and the decoded audio signal. The decoded audio signal is time-warped based on the time lag.

L'invention concerne une technique pouvant être utilisée dans un décodeur pour effectuer la transition entre une trame perdue et une ou plusieurs trames reçues suivant la trame perdue dans une série de trames. Selon cette technique, un signal extrapolé est engendré en se basant sur un signal audio de sortie synthétisé. On calcule un retard entre le signal extrapolé et un signal audio décodé associé à la ou aux trame(s) reçue(s), ce retard représentant un déphasage entre le signal extrapolé et le signal audio décodé. Le signal audio décodé subit une distorsion temporelle en fonction dudit retard.
