A heat-resistant tempered glass that is for windows and doors of building and housing unit, having a strength satisfying flame shielding performance, and that realizes high image quality. The tempered glass is one resulting from physical strengthening processing of a glass plate cut into given size, characterized in that there is provided an edge portion polished plane inclined against the surface of glass plate and an end face thereof, and that the edge portion polished plane has an angle of 135° to 170° against the glass plate surface, and that a break in a corner portion made by the edge portion polished plane and the glass plate surface has a length of 200 &mgr;m or less in the direction of edge line and has a maximum width of 100 &mgr;m or less in the direction perpendicular to the edge line.

L'invention concerne un verre trempé thermorésistant pour fenêtres et portes de bâtiment et une unité de logement d'une résistance suffisant à protéger contre les flammes et assurant une haute qualité d'image. Le verre, obtenu par traitement de renforcement physique d'une plaque de verre découpée à une taille donnée, est caractérisé par la présence d'un plan poli rivé incliné contre la surface de plaque de verre et une face extrême de celle-ci, par un angle de 135° à 170° du plan poli formée avec la surface de plaque de verre, par une longueur inférieure ou égale à 200 µm dans le sens de la rive de la rupture dans une partie angulaire formée par le plan poli et la surface de plaque de verre et par une largeur maximale inférieure ou égale à 100 µm dans le sens perpendiculaire à la rive.

 ビル用又は住宅用の窓及び扉のガラスであって、遮炎性能を満たす強度を有し、さらに、高い映像品質である耐熱強化ガラスを提供することを目的とする。  所定寸法に切断されたガラス板が物理強化処理された強化ガラスであって、前記ガラス板面及び端面に対し傾斜した稜部研磨面を有し、該稜部研磨面は前記ガラス板面とのなす角度が135度以上170度以下であり、前記稜部研磨面と前記ガラス板面とでなす角部のカケは稜線方向の長さが200μm以下、稜線に垂直方向の最大幅が100μm以下であることを特徴とする。
