A platen-stroke actuator of a molding system of the present invention includes a primary electro-magnetic element and a secondary electro- magnetic element magnetically interactable with the primary electro-magnetic element The primary electro-magnetic element extends away from a stationary frame of the molding system toward the secondary electro-magnetic element, and the secondary electro-magnetic element extends away from a movable platen of the molding system toward the primary electro-magnetic element Further, the platen-stroke actuator has a control unit to energize the primary and secondary electro-magnetic elements.

L'actionneur de course de platine pour système de moulage selon la présente invention comprend un élément électromagnétique primaire et un élément électromagnétique secondaire capable d'interagir magnétiquement avec l'élément primaire. Ledit élément électromagnétique primaire partant d'un châssis statique du système de moulage jusqu'à l'élément électromagnétique secondaire, ledit élément secondaire partant d'une platine mobile dudit système de moulage jusqu'à l'élément électromagnétique primaire. L'actionneur selon l'invention comporte en outre une unité de commande conçue pour exciter lesdits éléments électromagnétiques primaire et secondaire.
