Abstract

An aircraft load management system that determines the position of an aircraft cargo hook for display to an aircrew. The cargo hook positional information may alternatively or additionally be communicated directly to a flight control system and a winch control system to automate and coordinate flight control inputs with winch operation to actively position the cargo hook. Data transfer from the cargo through a data link system also provides the load management system with exact position of the cargo load connection points even prior to attachment of the cargo hook to the load. The load management system also includes anti-sway algorithms for active load stability inputs to the flight control system and to alter flight control laws and automatically compensate for CG. excursions.

Système de gestion de charges par un aéronef, permettant de déterminer la position d'un crochet de cargaison de l'aéronef et d'afficher celle-ci à l'intention d'un équipage. Les informations relatives à la position du crochet de cargaison peuvent, en variante ou en complément, être transmises directement à un système de commande de vol et à un système de commande de treuil afin d'automatiser et de coordonner des manœuvres de commande de vol avec le fonctionnement d'un treuil dans le but de positionner activement le crochet de cargaison. Un transfert des données émises par le crochet de cargaison par l'intermédiaire d'un système de transmission de données procure au système de gestion de charges la position exacte des points de fixation de charge préalablement à l'attache proprement dite du crochet de cargaison à la charge. Le système de gestion de charge utilise également des algorithmes anti-balancement permettant d'appliquer des signaux de stabilisation active de charge au système de commande de vol et de modifier les lois de commande de vol et corriger automatiquement les fluctuations de la position du centre de gravité.
