Abstract

A self-powered in-pipe fluid meter to be mounted inside of a pipe carrying a fluid therein. The fluid meter comprises at least one sensing unit capable of measuring one or more parameters of the fluid inside of the pipe; a telemetric data transmission unit capable of telemetrically transmitting data including a measured fluid parameter to a host terminal and/or another fluid meter; and at least one fluid-driven power source unit capable of generating power from the fluid flow within the pipe and supplying power to the sensing unit and/or the transmission unit.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de mesure de fluide autoalimenté monté dans une canalisation, destiné à être monté dans une canalisation transportant un fluide. Le dispositif de mesure de fluide comprend au moins un module de détection capable de mesurer un ou plusieurs paramètres du fluide circulant dans la canalisation; un module de transmission télémétrique de données capable d'assurer la transmission télémétrique de données, notamment d'un paramètre mesuré du fluide, à un terminal hôte et/ou à un autre dispositif de mesure de fluide; et au moins un module d'alimentation actionné par le fluide, capable de générer du courant à partir de l'écoulement de fluide dans la canalisation et d'alimenter en courant le module de détection et/ou le module de transmission.
