This invention relates to an absorbent article comprising superabsorbent material comprising superabsorbent polymers that are mixed or coated with a surface-modifying material that renders the superabsorbent material highly hydrophilic, providing the material with a FRH ratio of at least 1.10. The invention also relates to an absorbent article comprising a superabsorbent material, comprising superabsorbent polymers and a material that has (and provides) radiation- induced hydrophilicity.

La présente invention concerne un article absorbant comprenant un matériau superabsorbant contenant des polymères superabsorbants qui sont mélangés à un matériau modificateur de surface, ou revêtus dudit matériau, lequel rend le matériau superabsorbant hautement hydrophile, dotant le matériau d'un rapport FRH d'au moins 1,10. L'invention concerne également un article absorbant comprenant un matériau superabsorbant, contenant des polymères superabsorbants et un matériau qui présente (et fournit) des propriétés hydrophiles induites par rayonnements.
