A light device comprised of an ultraviolet light source and an additional light source; wherein the additional light source is selected from the group consisting of a white light fluorescent and incandescent light; and a related system for sterilizing and cleansing a surface comprising the light device and a switch selected from the group consisting of infrared, movement, electric eye, manual, contact switches, auto or semi-automatic, hard wired, pre- and after market versions; wherein the switch controls the activation and deactivation of the ultraviolet light source and the additional light source such that they are not both on at the same time.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif lumineux composé d'une source de lumière ultraviolette et d'une source de lumière supplémentaire, dans lequel la source de lumière supplémentaire est choisie dans le groupe consistant en une lumière blanche fluorescente et une lumière incandescente. L'invention concerne un système associé de stérilisation et de nettoyage d'une surface comprenant le dispositif lumineux et un commutateur choisi dans le groupe consistant en des commutateurs à infrarouge, à mouvement, à cellule photoélectrique, manuels, à contact, automatiques ou semi-automatiques, à câble, de versions avant et après commercialisation.
