Abstract

Method for treating a crank pin (4) of a crank shaft (1). In the method hardness of the crank pin (4) surface is measured and when the hardness is over a predetermined limit value, depth of the hard spot (10) is measured. Heat treatment parameters are determined at least on the basis of the depth measurement and the hard spot (10) is heat treated. During the heat treatment the hard spot (10) is heated by an induction heating device (5).

La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'un maneton (4) de vilebrequin (1). Dans le procédé, lon mesure la dureté de la surface du maneton de vilebrequin (4), et lorsque cette dureté dépasse une valeur limite prédéterminée, on mesure la profondeur du point dur (10). On détermine des paramètres de traitement thermique au moins en fonction de la mesure de profondeur et om traitre thermiquement le point dur (10). Pendant le traitement thermique, le point dur (10) est chauffé par un dispositif de chauffage par induction (5).
