The present invention relates to laser material processing systems and methods. A further aspect of the present invention employs a laser system (35) for micromachining using a hollow waveguide (27) and a laser beam pulse is given broad bandwidth for workpiece (33) modification.

L'invention concerne un système et une méthode d'usinage par laser. Une autre aspect de la présente invention met en oeuvre un laser pour micro-usinage. Dans un autre aspect de la présente invention, le système utilise un guide d'ondes creux. Dans un autre aspect de la présente invention, une impulsion d'un faisceau laser à large bande est produite pour la modification de pièces à usiner.
