A receiver comprises a receiving section (4) for receiving a frequency multiplexed signal to output the received signal, a first demodulating means (7) for demodulating received signals based on one-segment broadcasting and three-segment broadcasting to output a first carrier, a second demodulating means (8) for demodulating the received signal based on the one-segment broadcasting to output a second carrier, a judging section (9) for judging whether the received signal is based on the one-segment broadcasting or the three-segment broadcasting, and a combining/selecting section (10) for combining or selecting the first and second carriers. The combining/selecting section (10) combines or selects the first and second carriers in the case of the one-segment broadcasting, and selects the first carrier in the case of the three-segment broadcasting.

La présente invention concerne un récepteur qui comprend : une section de réception (4) destinée à recevoir un signal multiplexé de fréquence pour extraire le signal reçu ; des premiers moyens de démodulation (7) servant à démoduler les signaux reçus en fonction d'une diffusion à un segment et d'une diffusion à trois segments pour sortir une première porteuse ; des seconds moyens de démodulation (8) permettant de démoduler le signal reçu selon la diffusion à un segment pour extraire une seconde porteuse ; une section de décision (9) servant à décider si le signal reçu est basé sur la diffusion à un segment ou sur la diffusion à trois segments ; et une section de sélection/combinaison (10) afin de combiner ou de choisir les premières et les secondes porteuses. La section de combinaison/sélection (10) combine ou choisit les premières et secondes porteuses dans le cas de la diffusion à un segment, et choisit la première porteuse dans le cas de la diffusion à trois segments.
