A silica particle comprising at least one silica compound selected from the group consisting of mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane (MPS), mercaptopropyltriethoxysilane (MPES), mercaptopropylmethyldimethoxysilane (MPDMS), trimethoxy[2-(7-oxabicyclo[4.1.0]-hepto-3-yl)ethyl]silane (EpoPS), thiocyanatopropyltriethoxysilane (TCPS) and acryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (AcPS). The silica particle can be provided and used as a prophylactic agent, a therapeutic agent, a diagnostic agent, a diagnostic and therapeutic agent or the like in the dental, medical or veterinary field, or as a label, a maker or the like for a qualitative or quantitative test in any field.

La présente invention porte sur une particule de silice comprenant au moins un composé de silice sélectionné au sein du groupe constitué par les composés suivants : mercaptopropyltriméthoxysilane (MPS), mercaptopropyltriéthoxysilane (MPES), mercaptopropylméthyldiméthoxysilane (MPDMS), triméthoxy[2-(7-oxabicyclo[4.1.0]-hepto-3-yl)éthyl]silane (EpoPS), thiocyanatopropyltriéthoxysilane (TCPS) et acryloxypropyltriméthoxysilane (AcPS). La particule de silice peut être employée en tant qu'agent prophylactique, agent thérapeutique, agent de diagnostic, agent thérapeutique et diagnostique, entre autres, dans le domaine dentaire, médical ou vétérinaire, ou en tant qu'étiquette marqueur, entre autres, dans un test qualitatif ou quantitatif de n'importe quel domaine.
