Provided is a broadcast receiving terminal (5), which comprises a reception processing unit (21) capable of receiving a group of packets broadcast repeatedly for a predetermined period and having contents identical to each other, a multiplex separation unit (22) for selecting a desired packet from the received packet group of the reception processing unit (21), a TS packet analyzing unit (24) for detecting such a packet of the desired packet group as could not be normally received, a timing specification processing unit (41) for predicting a re-broadcast timing of that packet, and an ON/OFF control unit (42) for controlling the multiplex separation unit (22) so that the multiplex separation unit (22) may stop the action at least for a partial period till the re-broadcast timing and so that the multiplex separation unit (22) may start the action at the re-broadcast timing.
