[PROBLEMS] To provide an obstacle detector of an electric shutter exhibiting high sensitivity and high operation reliability and not permitting blow-through of flame from one side to the other side of the shutter upon occurrence of a fire, and to provide an electric shutter equipped with such an obstacle detector. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The obstacle detector comprises a flexible edge member (24) fixed to the bottom edge of a shutter curtain (12) and extending substantially over the entire length thereof. In the vicinity of one end of the edge member, a laser beam projector (34) projecting a laser beam in the longitudinal direction of the edge member through a hollow space (30) defined by the edge member is arranged, and a photosensor (40) for receiving that laser beam is arranged in the vicinity of the other end of the edge member. When the edge member is deformed elastically by external force and crushed, the laser beam is intercepted by the edge member and prevented from entering the photosensor. The edge member is made of a flame retardant elastomer material.

Le problème à résoudre consiste à fournir un détecteur d'obstacles d'un obturateur électrique montrant une sensibilité élevée et une fiabilité élevée de fonctionnement tout en ne permettant pas de soufflage de flamme d'un côté vers l'autre de l'obturateur lors de l'apparition d'un feu, et il consiste à fournir un obturateur électrique muni d'un tel détecteur d'obstacles. Le détecteur d'obstacles comprend un élément de bordure souple (24) fixé sur lebord inférieur d'un rideau d'obturateur (12) s'étendant pratiquement sur toute la longueur de celui-ci. Au voisinage d'une extrémité de l'élément de bordure est disposé un projecteur de faisceau laser (34) projetant un faisceau laser dans la direction longitudinale de l'élément de bordure au travers d'un espace creux (30) défini par l'élément de bordure, et un photodétecteur (40) est disposé au voisinage de l'autre extrémité de l'élément de bordure pour recevoir ce faisceau laser. Lorsque l'élément de bordure est élastiquement déformé par une force externe et qu'il est écrasé, le faisceau laser est intercepté par l'élément de bordure et ne peut entrer dans le photodétecteur. L'élément de bordure est constitué d'un matériau élastomère ignifuge.

課題 高感度で動作信頼性が高く、火災発生時にシャッターの一方の側から他方の側への火炎の吹き抜けを許すことのない、電動式シャッターの障害物検知装置を提供し、またかかる障害物検知装置を備えた電動式シャッターを提供する。 解決手段 障害物検知装置は、シャッターカーテン12の下端縁に取付けられてこのシャッターカーテンの下端縁の略々全長に亘って延在する可撓性を有する端縁部材24を備える。端縁部材の一端の近傍には、端縁部材により画成された中空空間30を通して端縁部材の長手方向にレーザビームを投射するレーザビーム射出器34が配設され、端縁部材の他端の近傍には、そのレーザビームを受取る光センサ40が配設されている。端縁部材が外力により弾性変形して潰れた状態になると、レーザビームが端縁部材により遮断されて、光センサへ入射することを妨げられる。端縁部材は難燃性エラストマー材料で製作されている。
