A multi-direction input device where any direction in which a direction key is depressed before click sensation is generated is detected and where the direction key can be depressed in any direction with a predetermined force that is small (less than a force necessary to generate the click sensation by pressing down the direction key in a desired direction) relative to the click sensation. The multi-direction input device is formed in a structure where, when the direction key is depressed in a desired direction, a pressing section deforms a click sensation generation section to generate click sensation. The device also has a movable element and a stationary element. The distance between the elements varies when the direction key is depressed in a desired direction at least before the click sensation is generated, and the variation in the distance is used to detect, at least before the click sensation is generated, the desired direction in which the key is depressed.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'entrée multidirectionnelle dans lequel toute direction, dans laquelle une touche de direction est enfoncée avant de générer une sensation de clic, est détectée et dans lequel la touche de direction peut être enfoncée suivant toute direction avec une force prédéterminée qui est légère (inférieure à une force nécessaire pour générer la sensation de clic lorsque l'on enfonce la touche de direction suivant une direction souhaitée) par rapport à la sensation de clic. Le dispositif d'entrée multidirectionnelle est formé dans une structure où, lorsque la touche de direction est enfoncée selon une direction souhaitée, une section de pression déforme une section de génération de sensation de clic en vue de générer une sensation de clic. Le dispositif possède aussi un élément amovible et un élément fixe. La distance séparant les éléments varie lorsque la touche de direction est enfoncée selon une direction souhaitée et ce, au moins avant la génération de la sensation de clic, et la variation en terme de distance sert à détecter, au moins avant la génération de la sensation de clic, la direction souhaitée dans laquelle la touche est enfoncée.

 本発明は、クリック感発生前において押し下げた任意方向を検知し、クリック感を基準に所定の弱い力(方向キーの任意方向を押し下げてクリック感が発生するために必要な力よりも弱い力)で方向キーの任意方向の押し下げが出来る多方向入力装置を提供することを目的とする。  方向キーの任意方向を押し下げていくと押し子によりクリック感発生部が変形してクリック感が発生する構造に形成し、少なくともクリック感の発生前における方向キーの任意方向の押し下げに伴って互いの距離が変化し、かつこの距離の変化から押し下げた任意方向を少なくともクリック感の発生前に検知するための可動素子及び固定素子をさらに備えることを特徴とする。
