Abstract

The invention relates to a clutch (20) which includes a housing (22). An input clutch component (30) and an output clutch component (36) are located in the housing. The clutch is provided with a connection formation (33) for rotatingly connecting an output shaft of a rotary drive to the input clutch component, and with a connection formation (38) for connecting an input shaft of a rotationally driven component to the output clutch component. At least one coupling element (56) is located in the housing and arranged for interacting with the input clutch component and the output clutch component, each coupling element having a coupling condition in which it rotatingly couples the clutch components, and an uncoupled condition in which it rotatingly uncouples the clutch components. The clutch further includes an urging arrangement which permanently urges each coupling element towards its coupling condition. The clutch is arranged such that when torque transmitted from one of the clutch components to the other exceeds a predetermined maximum, each coupling element automatically assumes its uncoupled condition.

La présente invention concerne un système d'embrayage (20) qui comprend un boîtier (22). Un composant d'embrayage d'entrée (30) et un composant d'embrayage de sortie (36) se situent dans le boîtier. Cet embrayage comporte une formation de connexion (33) destinée à connecter par rotation l'arbre de sortie d'un entraînement rotatif vers le composant d'embrayage d'entrée, et une formation de connexion (38) visant à connecter l'arbre d'entrée de composant à entraînement rotatif vers le composant d'embrayage de sortie. Au moins un élément de couplage (56) se situe dans le boîtier et il est placé de manière à interagir avec le composant d'embrayage d'entrée et celui de sortie, chaque élément de couplage ayant une condition de couplage dans laquelle il couple de manière rotative les composants d'embrayage, et une condition non couplée dans laquelle il interrompt par rotation le couplage des composants d'embrayage. Ce système d'embrayage comprend par ailleurs un dispositif de poussée qui pousse en permanence chaque élément de couplage vers sa condition de couplage. L'embrayage est arrangé en sorte que lorsque le couple de serrage transmis d'un des composants à l'autre dépasse un maximum prédéterminé,chaque élément de couplage passe automatiquement à sa condition non couplée.
