Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur kontinuierlichen Herstellung von hochmolekularen Polyestern durch Veresterung von Dicarbonsäuren und/oder Umesterung von Dicarbonsäureestern mit Diolen und/oder deren Mischungen in Gegenwart von Katalysatoren unter Bildung eines Vorpolymers in einem Turmreaktor und dessen Polykondensation zu einem hochmolekularen Polyester in einem Polykondensationsreaktor, wobei in dem Turmreaktor ein Vorpolymer mit > 40 bis 70 Wiederholungseinheiten (DP) hergestellt und dieses Vorpolymer in nur einem weiteren Reaktor zu einem Polyester mit > 150 bis 205 DP polykondensiert.

The present invention relates to a process for continuous preparation of high molecular weight polyesters by esterification of dicarboxylic acids and/or transesterification of dicarboxylic esters with diols and/or mixtures thereof in the presence of catalysts to form a prepolymer in a tower reactor and to the polycondensation thereof to give a high molecular weight polyester in a polycondensation reactor, wherein a prepolymer having from > 40 to 70 repeat units (DP) is prepared in the tower reactor and this prepolymer is polycondensed in just one further reactor to give a polyester having from > 150 to 205 DP.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication en continu de polyesters de poids moléculaire élevé par estérification d'acides dicarboxyliques et/ou transestérification d'esters d'acides dicarboxyliques avec des diols et/ou leurs mélanges en présence de catalyseurs, par formation d'un prépolymère dans une tour de réaction et sa polycondensation pour former un polyester de poids moléculaire élevé dans un réacteur de polycondensation, un prépolymère ayant de > 40 à 70 unités de répétition (DP) étant formé dans la tour de réaction et ce prépolymère étant polycondensé dans seulement un réacteur supplémentaire pour former un polyester ayant de > 150 à 205 DP.
