Abstract

An embedded computer chassis (102) may include a midplane (104) having a first side (105) and second side (107) substantially opposite each other, where the midplane is suitably adapted to receive at least one computer card in each of the first side and the second side. Embedded computer chassis may further include a cooling region (110) suitably adapted to cool the at least one computer card, where at least a portion of the cooling region is suitably adapted to receive a first fan tray (112) and a second fan tray (114), where the first fan tray is suitably adapted to couple to the first side of the midplane, and where the second fan tray is suitably adapted to couple to the second side of the midplane. The first fan tray and the second fan tray are substantially redundant for removing the heat generated by the at least one computer card.

La présente invention concerne un châssis d'ordinateur intégré (102) qui peut comporter un plan médian (104) présentant un premier côté (105) et un second côté (107) sensiblement opposés l'un à l'autre. Le plan médian est conçu pour recevoir au moins une carte informatique dans le premier côté et dans le second côté. Le châssis d'ordinateur intégré peut également comporter une région de refroidissement (110) conçue pour refroidir ladite carte informatique. Au moins une partie de cette région de refroidissement est conçue pour recevoir un premier plateau de ventilateur (112) et un second plateau de ventilateur (114). Le premier plateau de ventilateur est conçu pour être raccordé au premier côté du plan médian et le second plateau de ventilateur est conçu pour être raccordé au second côté du plan médian. Le premier plateau de ventilateur et le second plateau de ventilateur sont sensiblement redondants afin de pouvoir extraire la chaleur produite par ladite carte informatique.
