Abstract

There are provided an apparatus and method for the treatment of food waste. Particularly, the present invention relates to an apparatus and method for the treatment of food waste, which are characterized by degrading organic materials of food waste under anaerobic and aerobic conditions, separating the treated food waste into a precipitate and a supernatant, and chemically treating the supernatant, wherein the denitrification of nitrate nitrogen(NOx -N) is conducted twice before and after the anaerobic degradation. The apparatus and method of the present invention can convert food waste into a sludge with reduced weight and an effluent satisfying water quality suitable for discharging, generate methane gas that can be used as an energy source and maximize the denitrification efficiency of nitrate nitrogen.

La présente invention concerne un appareil et un procédé de traitement de déchets alimentaires. Elle concerne notamment un appareil et un procédé de traitement de déchets alimentaires qui sont caractérisés par la dégradation de matières organiques des déchets alimentaires dans des conditions anaérobies et aérobies, la séparation des déchets alimentaires traités en un précipité et un surnageant et le traitement chimique du surnageant. La dénitrification de l'azote des nitrates (NOx -N) est réalisée deux fois avant et après la dégradation anaérobie. L'appareil et le procédé selon cette invention permettent de transformer des déchets alimentaires en une suspension qui présente un poids réduit et en un effluent qui présente une qualité d'eau adaptée à une évacuation, de produire du gaz méthane qui peut être utilisé comme source d'énergie et de maximiser l'efficacité de dénitrification de l'azote des nitrates.
