Abstract

A first connector assembly (10) for connecting a first end (12) of a supplementary tension spring assembly (13) to an axle-mounted leaf spring assembly (14) of a vehicle is disclosed, the tension spring assembly (13) comprising a tension spring (16) defining the first end (12). The first connector assembly (10) comprises a pair of spaced apart substantially L-shaped arms (30,32), each arm comprising a first portion (3OA, 32A) that, in use, is substantially aligned with the leaf spring assembly (14), and a second portion (3OB, 32B) that, in use, extends substantially transversely relative to the leaf spring assembly (14). The first connector assembly (10) further comprises a first spacer element (34) that connects together the first portions (3OA, 32A) of the pair of L-shaped arms (30,32), the first spacer element (34), in use, being arranged to abut against a securing arrangement (22) so as to anchor the first connector assembly (10) behind the securing arrangement (22) relative to the tension spring assembly (13). A second spacer element (36) is provided, which connects together the second portions (3OB, 32B) of the pair of L-shaped arms (30,32).

La présente invention concerne un premier ensemble connecteur (10) pour connecter une première extrémité (12) d'un assemblage de ressort de tension supplémentaire (13) à un assemblage de ressort à lames monté sur essieu (14) d'un véhicule, l'assemblage de ressort de tension (13) comprenant un ressort de tension (16) qui définit la première extrémité (12). Le premier ensemble connecteur (10) comprend une paire de bras sensiblement en forme de L (30, 32) espacés l'un de l'autre, chaque bras comprenant une première partie (30A, 32A) qui, au cours de l'utilisation, est sensiblement alignée avec l'assemblage de ressort à lames (14), et une seconde partie (30B, 32B) qui, au cours de l'utilisation, s'étend de façon sensiblement transversale par rapport à l'assemblage de ressort à lames (14).
