Abstract:
(EN) A method for preventing movement in a telepresence system, includes a plurality of cameras (108). Each camera has a respective field of vision for viewing one or more users (104a). The fields of vision have lateral boundaries. The system also includes a plurality of restrictive elements. Each restrictive element is positioned along a respective lateral boundary of a field of vision of the plurality of cameras such that viewed users each positioned within a field of vision of the plurality of cameras are restricted by the plurality of restrictive elements from moving outside of the field of vision in which each viewed user is positioned.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé visant à prévenir les déplacements dans un système de téléprésence comprenant une pluralité de caméras. Chaque caméra comporte un champ de vision respectif pour visualiser un ou plusieurs utilisateurs. Les champs de vision comportent chacun des limites latérales. Le système comprend aussi une pluralité d'éléments restrictifs. Chaque élément restrictif est positionné le long d'une limite latérale respective d'un des champs de vision de la pluralité des caméras, de sorte que la pluralité des éléments restrictifs empêchent les utilisateurs visualisés, placés chacun dans un champ de vision de la pluralité des caméras, de se déplacer hors du champ de vision dans lequel chacun d'entre eux se situe.
