An absorbing tower provided with plural spray headers (3) which each have plural spray nozzles (5) and are arranged in a multi –stage state in the flow direction of exhaust gas, in which an absorbing fluid containing a slurry of lime stone or lime is sprayed through the nozzles (5) to absorb and remove sulfur oxide contained in exhaust gas, wherein each spray nozzle (5) is of an annular spray type (a holocone type) and the spray nozzles (5) in the neighborhood of the tower wall have such a structure that the fluid is sprayed radially at spray angles of 50 to 80° with the direction counter to the flow of exhaust gas as the center, while the nozzles (5) in the central part of the tower have such a structure that the fluid is sprayed radially at spray angles of 80 to 130° with the direction counter to the flow thereof as the center. According to the invention, the irregular flow of exhaust gas in the tower can be inhibited by using two kinds of spray nozzles (5) to thereby protect the desulfurization performance from lowering caused by channelling of exhaust gas in the neighborhood of the tower wall. Further, an extremely high pressure loss can be inhibited by the flow-regulating effect of sprayed droplets. Thus, a wet-type exhaust gas desulfurizer with a reduced total cost is obtained.

L'invention concerne une tour d'absorption pourvue d'une pluralité de rampes (3) de pulvérisation dont chacune est munie d'une pluralité de buses (5) de pulvérisation et qui sont agencées en une configuration à plusieurs étages dans la direction d'écoulement des gaz d'échappement, un fluide absorbant contenant un laitier de calcaire ou de chaux y étant pulvérisé à travers les buses (5) pour absorber et éliminer de l'oxyde de soufre contenu dans les gaz d'échappement, chaque buse (5) de pulvérisation étant du type à pulvérisation annulaire (type Holocone) et les buses (5) de pulvérisation au voisinage de la paroi de la tour présentant une structure telle que le fluide est pulvérisé radialement à des angles de pulvérisation de 50 à 80° centrés sur la direction opposée à l'écoulement de gaz d'échappement, tandis que les buses (5) situées dans la partie centrale de la tour présentent une structure telle que le fluide est pulvérisé radialement à des angles de pulvérisation de 80 à 130° centrés sur la direction opposée à l'écoulement. Selon l'invention, il est possible de contrecarrer l'écoulement irrégulier de gaz d'échappement dans la tour en utilisant deux types de buses (5) de pulvérisation pour préserver ainsi les performances de désulfurisation d'une baisse provoquée par la canalisation des gaz d'échappement au voisinage de la paroi de la tour. En outre, on peut s'opposer à une chute de pression extrêmement importante grâce à l'effet de régulation du débit par les gouttelettes pulvérisées. On obtient ainsi un désulfuriseur de gaz d'échappement de type humide d'un coût total réduit.

 吸収塔内で、石灰石または石灰を含むスラリを含有する吸収液を排ガス流れ方向に複数段設けられたスプレヘッダ3の複数のスプレノズル5から排ガス中に噴霧して前記排ガス中の硫黄酸化物などを吸収、除去する場合に、スプレノズル5は円環噴霧型(ホロコーン型)として、その吸収液噴霧角度を、吸収塔壁周辺部では排ガス流れに対向する方向を中心として放射状に50度~80度とし、吸収塔中心部では排ガス流れに対向する方向を中心として放射状に80度~130度としている。  上記2種類のスプレノズル5を用いて吸収塔内を流れる排ガスの偏流を防止し、吸収塔塔壁周辺部を排ガスが吹き抜けることによる脱硫性能の低下を防止するとともに、噴霧スプレ液滴の整流効果により、必要以上に圧力損失が大きくなることを防止し、全体のコストを低減した湿式排煙脱硫装置が得られる。
