An optical head device is provided with a light source; an objective lens for collecting light outputted from the light source on the information recording surface of an optical disc; a beam splitter which deflects and splits returning light, which is collected and reflected by the information recording surface of the optical disc, into an optical path different from the optical path of the outputted light; and a photodetector for detecting the deflected and split returning light. In the optical head device, a polarization element is arranged in an optical path between the beam splitter and the photodetector, for passing through the entered returning light by lowering the polarization degree.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de tête optique comprenant une source lumineuse, un objectif qui capte la lumière produite par la source lumineuse sur la surface d'enregistrement de données d'un disque optique, un diviseur de faisceau qui dévie et divise une lumière de retour, qui est reçue et réfléchie par la surface d'enregistrement de données du disque optique, dans un trajet optique différent de celui de la lumière produite, et un photodétecteur qui détecte la lumière de retour déviée et divisée. Dans le dispositif de tête optique, un élément de polarisation est disposé sur un trajet optique entre le diviseur de faisceau et le photodétecteur, pour transmettre la lumière de retour entrée avec une réduction du degré de polarisation.
