A handling method by which a substance from which a combustible gas volatilizes is inexpensively and safely mixed, stored, and otherwise handled. The method of handling a substance from which a combustible gas volatilizes comprises handling the substance in a highly closed apparatus, and is characterized in that air is introduced into the highly closed apparatus and the substance from which a combustible gas volatilizes is handled while keeping the combustible gas which has volatilized in the state of being diluted to a concentration at which neither an explosion nor a fire occurs. In the method of handling a substance from which a combustible gas volatilizes, air is used to dilute the combustible gas to a concentration at which neither an explosion nor a fire occurs, without the need of an inert gas, such as nitrogen or carbon dioxide, which is required to be produced or purchased. Thus, a substance from which a combustible gas volatilizes can be handled inexpensively and safely in operations such as mixing, storage, etc.

L'invention concerne un procédé de manipulation permettant de mélanger, stocker et manipuler de façon peu onéreuse et sans danger une substance à partir de laquelle se volatilise un gaz combustible. Ledit procédé implique de manipuler ladite substance dans un appareil hermétiquement clos ; il est caractérisé en ce que de l'air est introduit dans ledit appareil hermétiquement clos et la substance à partir de laquelle se volatilise le gaz combustible est manipulée tout en maintenant à l'état dilué ledit gaz combustible qui s'est volatilisé, en une concentration à laquelle ni un incendie ni une explosion ne peuvent se produire. Dans ledit procédé, de l'air est utilisé pour diluer le gaz combustible, ce qui évite d'avoir recours à un gaz inerte tel que l'azote ou le dioxyde de carbone, qui nécessitent d'être achetés ou produits. Il est ainsi possible de manipuler sans danger et de manière peu onéreuse une substance à partir de laquelle se volatilise un gaz combustible, lors d'opérations telles que mélange, stockage, etc.

可燃性ガスが揮発する物質を、安価に、しかも安全に、混合、貯留等する取扱方法を提案すること。上記した目的を達成するため、可燃性ガスが揮発する物質を密閉度の高い装置内において取り扱うに際して、空気を該密閉度の高い装置内に導入し、揮発した可燃性ガスを爆発あるいは火災を起こさない濃度まで希釈した状態で該可燃性ガスが揮発する物質を取り扱うことを特徴とする、可燃性ガスが揮発する物質の取扱方法とした。上記した可燃性ガスが揮発する物質の取扱方法によれば、製造あるいは購入が必要な窒素、二酸化炭素等の不活性ガスを用いることなく、空気によって可燃性ガスを爆発あるいは火災を起こさない濃度まで希釈する方法を採っているため、可燃性ガスが揮発する物質を、安価に、しかも安全に、混合、貯留等の操作において取り扱うことが可能となる。
