A policy control device (9) is arranged as a gateway to a 3GPP network (7) between a WLAN-AP (4) in a WLAN network (2) and an authentication server (5) in a WLAN network. According to a type (EAP type) of the authentication method of an authentication message transmitted from a WLAN terminal (1), the policy control device (9) judges whether a network of a transmission destination of the authentication message is to be the 3GPP network (7) or the WLAN network (2) or an ISP network (3) and transfers the authentication message to the decided destination. This makes only authentication messages of EAP-AKA to be sent to the 3GPP network (7), which reduces the processing load in a 3GPP authentication server (8).

Selon la présente invention, un dispositif de contrôle de politique (9) est disposé en tant que passerelle vers un réseau 3GPP (7) entre un WLAN-AP (4) dans un réseau WLAN (2) et un serveur d'authentification (5) dans un réseau WLAN. En fonction d'un type (EAP type) du procédé d'authentification d'un message d'authentification transmis à partir d'un terminal WLAN (1), le dispositif de contrôle de politique (9) détermine si un réseau d'une destination de transmission du message d'authentification doit être le réseau 3GPP (7) ou le réseau WLAN (2) ou un réseau ISP (3) et transfère le message d'authentification à la destination décidée. En vertu de cela, seuls les messages d'authentification d'EAP-AKA sont envoyés au réseau 3GPP (7), ce qui réduit la charge de traitement dans un serveur d'authentification 3GPP (8).
