Abstract

The invention relates in general level to a method for coating metal products comprising large surface areas. The invention also relates to coat metal products manufactured by the method. The coating is carried out by employing ultra short pulsed laser deposition wherein pulsed laser beam is scanned with a rotating optical scanner comprising at least one mirror for reflecting said laser beam. The invention has several both industrially and qualitatively advantageous effects such as high coating production rate, excellent coating properties and overall low manufacturing costs.

L'invention concerne un procédé de revêtement de produits métalliques présentant de grandes zones de surface. L'invention concerne également des produits métalliques revêtus fabriqués selon ce procédé. Le revêtement est réalisé par dépôt laser à impulsions courtes, le faisceau laser étant balayé par un balayeur optique rotatif comportant au moins un miroir destiné à réfléchir ledit faisceau laser. Le procédé selon l'invention présente divers avantages industriels et qualitatifs tels qu'un haut débit de revêtement, d'excellentes propriétés de revêtement et de faibles coûts de fabrication d'ensemble.
