(EN)Method of analyzing the visual properties of a paint film comprising effect pigments illuminated by a light source, characterized in that a first polarizing filter is located between the light source and the paint film and a second polarizing filter is located between the paint film and an imaging detector, and in that the polarization axis of at least one of the polarizers is moved between an orientation substantially at right angles to the orientation of the polarization axis of the other polarizer and an orientation in which the angle between the two polarization axes is smaller.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé d'analyse des propriétés visuelles d'un film de peinture comprenant des pigments à effets éclairé par une source de lumière, caractérisé en ce qu'un premier filtre de polarisation est situé entre la source de lumière et le film de peinture et qu'un second filtre de polarisation est situé entre le film de peinture et un détecteur d'imagerie, et en ce que l'axe de polarisation d'au moins un des polariseurs se déplace entre une orientation sensiblement à angle droit par rapport à l'orientation de l'axe de polarisation de l'autre polariseur et une orientation dans laquelle l'angle entre les deux axes de polarisation est plus faible.
