Title (EN) A METHOD OF MAKING SURFACE-COVERED EDGES ON FURNITURE BOARDS IN PARTICULAR
(FR) PROCEDE DE PROTECTION DES RIVES, EN PARTICULIER SUR DES PLANCHES POUR MEUBLES
Abstract: front page image
(EN)When furniture boards (1 ) are to be surface-treated with a covering layer and finished such that the board edges (2) are covered completely, the method according to the invention is useful as it ensures an undamaged board edge with an unbroken moisture barrier. The method comprises bevelling of the corner (2, 6, 7) with subsequent application (3, 3a) of a covering layer in so ample amounts that the subse- quent working can take place without the covering layer being penetrated.
