(EN)A novel method to cultivate transgenic broad-leaf sprouting trees mediated by Agrobacterium is characterized by inducing a main stem to grow regenerating plants without tissue culture in vitro. The process is very useful for increasing success rate of gene transformation of trees, obtaining direction- improved transgenic broad-leaf sprouting trees and providing a new approach for asexual reproduction of broad-leaf sprouting trees.
(FR)L'invention concerne un nouveau procédé de culture de semences d'arbres transgéniques à larges feuilles faisant intervenir Agrobacterium, caractérisé en ce qu'il induit une tige principale pour faire pousser des plantes de régénération sans culture tissulaire in vitro. Ce procédé est très utille pour augmenter le taux de réussite de transformation génique d'arbres, obtenir des arbres transgéniques à larges feuilles et à orientation améliorée, et fournir une nouvelle approche de la reproduction asexuée des arbres à larges feuilles.
