(EN)Provided is a method capable of effectively treating various diseases associated with energy excess, such as obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndromes, degenerative diseases and mitochondrial dysfunction-related diseases, via elevation of an NAD(P)+ZNAD(P)H ratio by increasing an NAD(P)+ concentration in vivo or in vitro through use of NAD(P)H as a substrate or coenzyme by oxidoreductase such as NAD(P)H:quinone oxidoreductase (NQO1), a method of screening a drug for the same and a therapeutic drug.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de traiter efficacement diverses maladies associées à un excès énergétique telles que l'obésité, le diabète, les syndromes métaboliques, ainsi que des maladies dégénératives et des maladies associées à un dysfonctionnement des mitochondries, par une élévation du ratio NAD(P)+/NAD(P)H en augmentant la concentration en NAD(P)+ in vivo ou in vitro en se servant de NAD(P)H comme substrat ou d'une coenzyme oxydoréductase telle que la NAD(P)H-quinone oxydoréductase (NQO1); un procédé de criblage de médicaments pour traiter ces maladies; et un médicament thérapeutique.
